Avocet has developed a range of ancillary applications aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Transmission Automation System in areas that are best served by PC technology, for example viewer interaction, graphical tools, web-based displays, database sorting and filtering etc.
In addition, PC technology is used extensively to provide first class user interfaces to Avocet’s Transmission Automation System. Many examples of these PC based user interface applications are described elsewhere under Transmission Automation/User Interfaces.
